ABOUT

Our design and building philosophy is to think wisely, build beautifully, and touch the earth lightly…

We embrace design using sustainable materials that speak to the island environment and the local culture, while harmoniously integrating the land, sun, wind, and rainwater. This total holistic approach creates a healthy, energy efficient, long lasting, comfortable home that begins with your vision, lifestyle, and budget.

Design and build process

Presently, we collaborate with two experienced and professional local licensed building contractors for the construction of new homes. Once the initial design concept has been established, the preliminary drawings are then shared with the building contractors for their review and cost estimates. Following the estimate, there will be design development, budget check, site meeting, contract proposal, construction documents, permit application, site work, and then construction of your new home. The entire process will typically take about 8-10 months from concept designs to finished home depending on the scope of the work.
